I took my 2018 Pacifica into the dealer after getting a recall notice from Chrysler for a software update to the Start/Stop system. A couple of days later I start getting almost daily messages to service the Start/Stop system and a check engine light. The code is P0303 (misfire on cylinder 3).The definition for the P00FD code is "Battery B State Of Charge Performance." In other words, the aux battery is bad. It does not cause the check engine light to come on. It only disables ESS and triggers a service stop/start message at startup.
