Recently, as it has been colder (in Chicago) when starting the car there is a loud whine, which happens when the car is starting and cold. The noise gets worse when turning, and turning is difficult and noisy until the car warms up.It would intermittently start chirping and squealing. You can pop the belts off and spin them without a load on the bearing and listen. If it makes noise, or feels rough when you spin it, good chance that is a source of some noise.
